El dijous 9 de Febrer a les 19'00 al Café Carmelitas ( Carrer del Doctor Dou, 1, Barcelona) , La Societat Catalana d’Immunologia celebra un nou cafè científic dins el cicle de Cafès científics en Immunologia (2011 – 2012) organitzats amb el suport de la Fundació Dr. Antoni Esteve i la Secretaria d’Universitats i Recerca (Generalitat de Catalunya) i BIOcomuniCA'T.
En aquest nou cafè científic, el públic assistent debatrà amb experts sobre les vacunes.
La vacunació és una forma d’activar el sistema immunitari i prevenir malalties greus i fins i tot mortals. Les vacunes li ensenyen al cos com defensar-se de la invasió d’organismes patògens. En aquest cafè es debatrà sobre sobre com funcionen les vacunes, la seva seguretat i si algunes vacunes haurien de ser obligatòries per garantir la salut pública.

The Master in Immunology, is shared between the Universitat de Barcelona (current coordinator center) and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 25.7 of Royal Decree 1393/2007 of 29 October, the proposal for the Master in Immunology was POSITIVELY VERIFIED (July 6th 2009), by the Ministry of Education (the verification has been made by ANECA).
The Master in Immunology is part of the formative stage of the following doctoral programs:
- PhD Program in Biomedicine (Quality Mention MCD2006-00544) at the Universitat de Barcelona .
- Doctoral Program in Immunology (Quality Mention MCD2007-00235) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Universitat de Barcelona .
The Master in Immunology was approved by the Government of Catalonia in order UNI/263/2006 of 18/04/2006, published in the Catalan Government Gazette No 4623 of 04.28.2006.
