About the Master in Social and Educational Intervention |

The master’s degree Social and Educational Intervention provides the student with the methods and knowledge to analyse the principles and operation of social policies in various contexts, to identify the chief characteristics of social intervention and to to address current issues affecting vulnerable groups in our society. The course, which is specifically oriented towards both research and professional practice, is interdisciplinary and therefore of interest to a wide range of professionals. Students will acquire the training to promote a variety of lifelong development processes in different social contexts, and to employ preventive social intervention strategies based on progressive and educational principles in conventional community contexts and with social groups characterised by special needs or psychosocial risk factors. |
