Access requirements

The current programme requires candidates to have a degree in Philology, Linguistics, Translation and Interpretation, Humanities, Philosophy, Psychology, Anthropology, History of Art, Fine Arts, Communication sciences or  an equivalent degree.

Admission requirements and process:

Applicants will be required to submit the following:

• A certified copy of the degree which qualifies the candidate for access to the Masters degree course.
•  Degree qualifications
• Curriculum Vitae
• Candidates’ knowledge of English.
• A letter of application, where you describe your motives for wanting to enrol in the MA programme Lexis and Communication.
• A personal interview may be required

All documents should be handed in to the Faculty Secretary’s Office in the Faculty of Philology (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 585, 08007-BARCELONA).

The coordinating committee, made up of representatives of the Departments participating in the programme, will assess the candidates for admission.

The master's Coordinating Committee will resolve the applications and then proceed to its publication on the web on the following dates:

• May 15th 
  
• June 15th
  
• July 15th
  
• September 15th

Those students who wish to enrol in the Masters degree course with a degree qualification which has been awarded in a country other than Spain will be required to apply to the UB for authorisation before enrolment.
