Interuniversity and International Master |

 Respiratory Medicine (RESPMED) is an international and interuniversity Master's degree organised jointly by the University of Barcelona and the Pompeu Fabra University. Our Master counts with the participation of Ciberes, the research network in respiratory diseases.
It targets in the first place professionals and students from the fields of Health Sciences such as doctors, biologists, nurses or physiotherapists interested in gaining further knowledge and skills be it for:
- the advanced professional respiratory medicine practice (professional specialization)
- or the academic and multidisciplinary research in the field of respiratory medicine and respiratory care (research specialization).
Since 2010-2011 and in order to promote the participation of students that do not live in Barcelona, the pedagogical approach is based on eLearning and enhanced by the Virtual campus of the University of Barcelona. Nonetheless, 4 "on campus" seminars of two days each will be held in Barcelona between October 2011 and June 2012.
As from 2011-12, the Respiratory Medicine Master cooperates with the European Master BioHealth Computing that is implemented jointly with the University of Grenoble (FR), Maastricht (NL) and Torino (IT).

Pre- registration: preregistration is open until 30 September 2011
Final registration: to be done between 3 October and 14 October 2011
Start of the course in the virtual campus: 21 October 2011.
First on campus seminar in Barcelona: 28 and 29 October 2011
During the 2nd half of September 2011, the calendar of the other 3 "on campus" sessions in Barcelona will be published on this website. Most of the classes and homeworks will be implemented in the Virtual Campus of the UB, so that students can work at their own pace. Furthermore, every two weeks on friday afternoon as from 3 p.m. students will be requested to attend distance seminars through web conference.
