The second half of the 20th century saw a huge number of social, economic, cultural and technological changes in all developed countries, which in turn created new educational scenarios and new spaces and groups for psychological research and intervention in the field of education. As a result, a growing number of psychology professionals and researchers are involved in new educational scenarios that have moved away from the traditional family and school environments and which offer opportunities to older learners as well as children and young people.
The Postgraduate Program in Educational Psychology formed by the combined Master’s degree in Educational Psychology (MIPE) and the combined Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology (DIPE) is a multi-institution initiative offered by six Catalan universities addressed to students and professional who are interested in acquiring a solid theoretical and practical grounding in the contributions of psychology to educational theory and practice.
