Introduction
The university master’s degree in Business Law is a postgraduate course adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and offered by the UB Faculty of Law in the academic year 2011-2012.
Credits
This master’s degree is addressed to graduates in Law and carries a total of 90 ECTS credits.
Timetable
Classes are taught from Monday to Friday, either in the mornings or afternoons depending on the subjects being studied.

The course begins with a compulsory module in the first semester that all students must complete, which includes these subjects:

In the third semester the course offers a professional or research module, so that students can choose the training pathway that best suits their profile:
- The professional module, for the practice of law and legal services in business.
- The research module, for students who wish to complete a doctoral thesis.
The first two semesters of the course will be taught during the academic year 2011-2012 and the third will take place in the first semester of the academic year 2012-2013.
Assessment
The assessment of each student’s learning and progress is of a continuous nature. In accordance with the teaching plans for each subject, students will be required to successfully complete various learning activities proposed by their teachers.
Fees
As with any official course of study the fee for the master’s degree in Business Law is determined by the Catalan government (Generalitat de Catalunya) and falls within limits established by the State.

Applicants should be aware of the following two conditions:
- Applicants that hold degrees issued by universities outside Spain must apply to the Faculty Doctoral Studies Committee for approval for admission to postgraduate studies, and must submit official documents accrediting their degree qualification and a corresponding academic record. These conditions apply to all students who wish to enrol in the master’s degree but who do not already have certified homologation of their previous studies.
