The Master of Research in Business, Finance and Insurance (MRec.EFA) as its main objective the training of researchers in different aspects of business: leadership and management; accounting, financial, human capital and business productivity, size and structure wage of the company; effects of economic sectoral policies; innovation and enterprise development; technical aspects of insurance and finance. To this end, the Master includes three specialties that allow the student to define his profile training tailored to what is usual in the M. Phil in Business at the international level:

• Organization, direction and accounting
• Finances and insurances
• Operating research

The Master will provide knowledge of the theoretical and empirical methods most relevant to the investigation into the business world. Graduates of Master will have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to begin working independently in his doctoral thesis. Those students who choose to continue within the business world will be ready to work with a major research component, such as consulting services or studies.

The Master of Research in Business, Finance and Insurance is the stage of training required for a doctorate, so that those graduates who want to complete their Master training with the drafting of the thesis, as have the option phase of the research Programme Doctorate in Business.

The Master of Research in Business, Finance and Insurance has obtained funding from the Dirección General de Universidades, Secretary of State Universities and Research, Ministry of Education and Science.    

The Master and VidaCaixa offer in June 2008, the first edition of the premi VIDACAIXA-ASSEGURANCES UB to the best research in the field of insurance made in the Master.
