Coordinated by the two universities the Rovira i Virgili University and the University of Barcelona, with the support of the University of the Balearic Islands, the officially recognised postgraduate degree Nutrition and Metabolism is now available for study.

Nutrition and Metabolism is intended as a specialised program to train professionals in both basic and applied branches of nutrition and to answer society’s growing demand for professionals whose knowledge can enable our community to make nutritional choices that can improve our quality of life. The program aims to strike a balance between the teaching of scientific and technical knowledge and skills in an academic context and the preparation of the student in more specifically professional aspects.

Following the pattern of UE postgrade studies in this discipline as these are thaught by various univesities with a central nucleus, Nutrition and Metabolism is intended to provide common areas of study for different student profiles and to offer a variety of teaching blocks than can catter to these.
