Upon receiving the admission acceptance
email, students have one week to respond and confirm their place in the
program. If the student does not respond within the one-week period, they will
be placed on the waiting list. At the beginning of July, there is an
information meeting for accepted students.
Registration and enrollment dates are
decided upon based on students’ academic provenance.

Finally, enroll and pay for classes online
before the end of the month. Remember that the registration and enrollment
period is limited. Failure to comply will result in your enrollment being
revoked.
-Registration
for students holding Foreign Degrees
Request the authorization of Degree from
Faculty Secretary.
The following documentation should be
provided:
DNI or passport
2 passport size color photos
Photocopy of bank account information
Degree, Official Academic Transcript and
Letter from the Education Ministry from candidate’s country certifying that the
Official Degree or Title earned qualifies them to pursue Graduate studies
All documents must be certified and possess
an Apostille, if the country of origin is party to the Hague Convention.
Certified copies of the last three certified
documents containing the Apostille should be made and given to the Consulate or
the Spanish Embassy in the candidate’s country of origin. If the candidate is
already in Catalonia,
the certified copies should been given directly to the Faculty Secretary.
In addition to the certified copies, the
candidate should submit to the Faculty Secretary the application form for
authorization for foreign students to access the Masters. This will give the
admission committee time to authorize the documents.
All documents must be in Catalan, Spanish
or English language. If not, the documents must be translated by an authorized
translator, a list of authorized translators can be found at the Spanish
Consulate of your country. These steps must be completed in order to register
and enroll in classes.
It should be noted that the majority of the
Master’s classes are taught in Catalan (although homework, exams and projects
can be completed in the language of the student’s choice, upon permission of
the professor). It is highly recommended that student’s with no knowledge of
the Catalan language enroll in an introductory course (the UB offers elementary
level Catalan language courses beginning in August).
