Pre-enrolment application and enrolment
Pre-enrolment for the master’s degree course is open throughout the
academic year.
Enrolment in the master’s degree course entails the following steps:
1. Electronic pre-enrolment
Students applying for the course must complete an electronic pre-enrolment form available on the Faculty of
Fine Arts official masters webpage ("Pre-register/Register" tab).
2. Submission of papers

3. Assessment of papers submitted
The assessment and selection committee for the master’s degree course
will review the papers submitted, and if the application for admission
is accepted these papers will be forwarded to the Secretary’s Office for
Students and Teaching Staff at the faculty of Fine Arts. Referring to
the academic record supplied, the secretary will then verify whether or
not the qualification obtained is valid and advise the course
coordinator.
4. Notice of admission or denial
If all the student’s papers are in order the coordinator will send an
acceptance letter (as a PDF) to the applying student to facilitate the
enrolment procedure. This letter will also be sent by certified mail.
5. Completion of enrolment
Registration will take place in person at the Oficina de Postgraus of
the UB Faculty of Fine Arts, in one of three separate periods according
to the semester in which students are to join the course:
First semester: end of July to mid-September
Second semester: beginning of February
Specific dates of enrolment will be announced in due course.
