Veterinary and PhD in environmental microbiology and biotechnology. His research is focused on the study of human and animal viruses present in the environment and its potential application as indicators of fecal pollution from human and/or animal origin (microbial source tracking).He also develops new molecular methods to detect and quantify animal viruses.
