5.- Master Thesis: Practical work
• Practical
work 30 ECTS (mandatory)
All students will perform a 30 ECTS practical work (equivalent to the
Master thesis). This will be developed during both lecture terms, under
the supervision of the Tutor. Two different work profiles are considered:
• Research
project. This will allow to initiate the student in research activities,
in the framework of an active research group competitive at international
level
• Innovative industrial project.
• Master
thesis
• Introduction on thesis practical work
More important information about Master Thesis
can be found in the Virtual Campus
Tutorial Actions Plan
Each student will have a
tutor. The tutor will guide the student in the election of the matters
and topics best suited to his capabilities and formation, and will
evaluate the consecution of transversal competences and skills.
•
20 ECTS from Fundamental matters (including the mandatory matter of
Nanotechnology)
• 10 ECTS from optional transversal and specialisation
matters
• Practical work of 30 ECTS
90 ECTS Profile:
• 30 ECTS from Fundamental
matters (including the mandatory matter of Nanotechnology)
• 30 ECTS from optional transversal and specialisation
matters
• Practical work of 30 ECTS
120 ECTS Profile:
• Levelling
topics: as function of previous formation
• A minimum of 30 ECTS from Fundamental matters (including the mandatory
matter of Nanotechnology)
• A minimum of 30 ECTS from optional transversal and specialisation
matters
• Practical work of 30 ECTS
Lecturers
Lectures will
be given by Professors and Researchers from the different research
institutions forming the Master Consortium. This includes a wide ensemble
of researchers from the different Universities (UB, URV, UPC, UdG) and Research Institutes
(ICIQ, IBEC, CNM-CSIC, ICMAB-CSIC) with a significant contribution in the
advanced research and in the formation of professionals in these fields.
