| General Overview
The Masters degree has two school semesters and one experimental semester:
Semester 1 (October 2006 - January 2007)
- Comprising Module 1, which teaches the student about the specific techniques used to study the Nervous System.
- Comprising Module 2, focuses on presenting the latest cell, molecular and biophysical breakthroughs in neuronal physiology in an integrated manner.
Semester 2 (February 2007 - June 2007)
- Comprising Module 3, physiopathology and therapy for neurological diseases, including the physiopathological bases of neurological and psychiatric diseases, and the treatment of these diseases from the pharmacological point of view, and gene and cell therapy.
- Comprising Module 4, which will be devoted to the latest advances in the mechanisms of the human brain that are involved in the generation of complex behaviours, such as learning, memory and other typical behavioural aspects of humans.
Semester 3 (September 2007 - January 2008)
- Will address experimental work.
