Getting to the UAB

Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is located outside the city of Barcelona. Please visit the university website (www.uab.cat) to check the best way of getting to UAB for you. We recommend taking Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), which provide frequent (every 10-15 minutes), punctual and affordable service. You can take an FGC train from any of the three stations in the city: Catalunya (close to the Aerobus stop), Provença or Gràcia. You need to take either line S2 (Sabadell bound) or line S55 (Universitat Autònoma bound) and get off at Universitat Autònoma. From the city, you need to buy a Zone 2 ticket (3€ one-way) from a vending machines at any Metro or FGC station, and you need to keep it for the whole journey: you need it to get in and to go out of the station (there is a fine of around 40€ if you don’t have it at the Universitat Autònoma station). From the Catalunya station, the journey to Universitat Autònoma takes about 35 minutes.

Getting to the workshop venue

The workshop will take place in Sala de Graus, Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres, Edifici B, Campus UAB:

OCP2

In order to get to the building (Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres) from the railway station, you have to take the main exit in the middle of the station, go downstairs, and then go straight: you will arrive at the square called Plaça Cívica. On your left there will be a candy shop; turn left, cross the square and continue along the path that goes up the hill behind the square. Halfway up, to your right you will see a building called «Facultat de Psicologia»: this is the building you are looking for. You can enter by the lateral door, turn left, and take the stairs up to get to the Facultat de Lletres. You will see the Information Desk of the Facultat de Lletres on the right. The workshop room (Sala de Graus) is right in front of the Information Desk.
