The project Airwells wants to make a large multidisciplinary research on the possibilities of current and historical environmental water uptake. The Ecole Speciale d’Architecture in Paris and architect Edouard Cabay are the main partners of the project.
We have opened a 9-months grant to support a research project to study the uptake of water by condensation in structures, materials and various fibbers. The work is an experimental study with knowledge of Condensed Matter Physics (fluid Dynamics and phase transitions) and complexity science, including data analysis, simulation and a close collaboration with international architectural studio located in Barcelona.
