To observe, analyze and inform about the operation of criminal justice system institutions (prisons, detention centres, internment centres for foreigners, judges, security forces)

To contribute in the defence of human rights, which are every day more menaced by security policies, surveillance and control

To watch over the fulfilment of strict legality in the criminal justice system and work to achieve its maximum of transparency

Give instruments to allow people and social organisations to gain more power and are stronger in their fight against policies of control, security, social exclusion and illegality.
