The 09 Workshop on Pensions and Insurance aims to be a forum where to present and discuss research that helps increase the theoretical, methodological and empirical knowledge, as well as a better understanding, of management practices in the insurance and pension industry.

The Workshop is part of the activities of the Department of Economic, Financial and Actuarial Mathematics, the research group Actuarial and Financial Modelling and the Observatory of European Systems of Complementary Social Pension Plans.
