Demonstrations

Demo 1 (Lopez-Moliner & Soto-Faraco, submitted). Weighting of Audiovisual speed. Visual and Auditory motion signals are combined in a weighted average fashion. The movie on the right illustrates this process. |

Demo 4. Half-spiral having a radial component of contraction. Even though we perceive a clear rotation, it can elicit an expansion motion after-effect. In order to see the motion after-effect, look at the stimulus for one minute and stop it by clicking on the movie with the mouse. A Double click restarts the movie. See Lopez-Moliner, Smeets & Brenner (2004) for more information. |

Demo 5. Full spiral with exactly the same radial component as the half-spiral. Here we perceive a clear contraction. In this case the MAE (expansion) is opposite our percept during the adaptation phase. |
