Giovanni Merlo is a PhD student at the Department of Logic, History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Barcelona. Before joining the PETAF project, he completed his B.Phil. in philosophy at Corpus Christi College at the University of Oxford. As an undergraduate, Giovanni studied philosophy at the University of Padua and was a visiting student at Boston University. His main areas of research are metaphysics and the philosophy of mind. He also has a special interest in the philosophy of G.W. Leibniz.
