Research
The main research goal of PETAF is to provide a systematic treatment and unification of current strands in the study of perspective-bound cognition as well as a proper assessment of its consequences for our notions of objectivity and ontological independence. To this end, top-level research in the more technical logico-semantic areas of philosophy, with their advanced analytical tools, is just as much needed as a competent, more globally oriented reflection, characteristic of philosophy, on the role which perspective-bound cognition has for our conception of ourselves and of our relation to our human and non-human environment.
