Resum breu del currículum:

I am a postdoctoral researcher in University of Barcelona. I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Centro UCM-ISCIII de Investigación sobre la Evolución y Comportamiento Humanos and Complutense University of Madrid, at the University of Lisboa (Portugal) and as invited scholar at the Université Aix-Marseille (France). I graduated in History and hold a PhD (with European Mention) in Archaeology from the University of Barcelona (2013). I was a visiting PhD fellow at the University of Arizona (USA), Université de Toulouse (France) and University of Bristol (United Kingdom). I am currently involved in several national and international projects.
The Paleolithic in south-western Europe has been the focus of my research. My technical specialties include Taphonomy and Zooarchaeology of large mammals and my professional interests involve human subsistence behaviour (scavenging versus hunting), hominid-carnivore interactions, managing of fire, mortuary activities and the relationship between societies and ecosystems. This topic interest has led to conduct archaeological excavations at different sites in the Iberian Peninsula. I have led an archaeological team working in Palaeolithic studies, directing between 2002 and the present forty-nine field excavation seasons as well as acting as scientific coordinator of multidisciplinary studies.
Furthermore, I am increasingly concerned with dedicating efforts to knowledge transfer and promoting archaeological activities for the benefit of society, in the role of project manager or science consultant in the preparation of archaeological exhibitions, conferences, teaching materials or popular archaeological science books.
