Contracts and in-company placements for geologists and geological engineers

The Faculty of Geology and the University of Barcelona aim to promote the interaction between the university and the business sector by providing a web resource for companies to recruit undergraduates and graduates in geology and geological engineering with professional profiles that can meet the challenges of our constantly changing labour world.

Companies and students alike can use this simple, automated resource to view the faculty’s Job mart pages and consult postings in such areas as candidate curricula, advertisements, autoselection and personnel selection, and new calls for company placements.

Meetings between students and companies in the sector (TEGE)

Every year, with the support of the Dean’s Office and the University and as a means by which to foster and reinforce university-company relations in the field of geology, the students at the Faculty of Geology organize a series of meetings with companies in the sector (TEGE).

These meetings are intended to provide a showcase for the range of applications of geology in society today, and to maximise the interaction between student and business collectives.
