Antonio Ferreiro (Deloitte Canada) and Miguel Santolino (Riskcenter-UB) spoke about the challenges of the insurance sector in next years and how the actuarial profession should face these challenges. They pointed out that the continuous professional development of actuaries will play a key role. The event was opened by Lluis Bermudez, vocal president of the Education area of the Col·legi d’Actuaris de Catalunya (CAC), Miquel Viñals, president of the CAC, and Jorge Cruz, Non-life actuarial assistant director of Mapfre.
