Nov 20 2019: David Tuesta has participated in a seminar for students of the UB Master in Actuarial Sciences. Under the title «Digitization and pensions in emerging economies» Dr. Tuesta has explained main challenges for the different pension systems in developing countries. In his presentation he has referred to the weight that the gig economy can have in the transformation and access to long-term savings products through the use of platforms. He has presented results for the case of Mexico, and has emphasized new forms of incentive to saving, such as those directly associated with consumption and all those lines of action motivated by behavioral economics.
