Welcome to UBZurich Chair!
The UBZurich Chair has been created with the aim of promoting and fostering education and high quality research in the fields of Actuarial Science and Finance. In particular the Chair focuses on the analysis and development of quantitative methods and the economic management of risks, as regulated by Solvency II and Basel III. The Chair, founded by the University of Barcelona, has its roots in the fields of finance, risk management and insurance. Its activities have a clear preference for multidisciplinary work and its objective is to promote education, research and technology transfer in related fields within the study of economics. Based jointly at the University of Barcelona and at the Research Group on Risk in Finance and Insurance, UBZurich Chair has an international scope, with an emphasis on Europe and Latin America.
We invite you to take part in this project and in the activities organized by the Chair and to share it with your colleagues and all those who might be interested.
