Hundreds of students approach UB School of Economics during Barcelona’s postgraduate fair “Futura”
The Universitat de Barcelona School of Economics stand at the postgraduate fair “Futura” was approached by hundreds of students. The event took place in Barcelona from 24th to 25th March. For the third consecutive year, the centre for research and postgraduate education in economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business showcased its MSc and PhD in Economics. A large majority of students showed great interest in these high-quality research programmes, taught at one of the top universities in the world.
Visitors had the chance to get first-hand information from the UB School of Economics team about the degrees, the application requirements and scholarships, among others. Laura Guitart, Vicedean and Rector’s Delegate for Master and Postgraduate Education at the Faculty of Economics and Business gave a presentation on the programmes offered and the services available at the Faculty, such as the Careers Service, the International Relations Office and two libraries, among others.
The UB School of Economics shared the stand with the UB Business School and the Faculty of Economics and Business, which displayed 16 official master degrees in Economics, Business, Sociology, Statistics and interdisciplinary subjects, as well as a wide range of UB-specific degrees. The University of Barcelona was also present at “Futura” at another stand. The offer includes more than 150 university master degrees from different knowledge areas, as well as 400 UB-specific degrees aimed at university graduates interested in advanced training to get an academic and professional specialisation.
