Microplastics in table salts

Project presentation

How to easily study them

[CAT | ENG]

Microplastics (MP) and microfibers (MF) are ubiquitous materials nowadays. The goal of this activity is to illustrate the procedure to separate, observe and quantify MP and MF (and other accompanying insoluble particles) contained in Table Salts. This protocol is applicable to other types of samples, such as water.

Insoluble particles, including many microfibers, extracted from different Table Salts.
