Who we are

Promotion and support for entrepreneurship at the University of Barcelona

StartUB! is the entity of the University of Barcelona responsible for coordinating, promoting and developing all activities related to entrepreneurship and its promotion. StartUB! can help you promote and develop entrepreneurial ideas and initiatives, providing a gateway to UB’s capacities and instruments, which are there to support entrepreneurship among its students, alumni, professors and researchers.

The goal of StartUB! is to complement and enhance UB’s capabilities in the sphere of training, promoting entrepreneurship, and guiding and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives.

The autumn 2019 call is now open!

StartUB! and the Social Council of the UB convene the StartUB! Sprint every semester to boost innovation and stimulate the spirit of collaboration and entrepreneurship among UB students, rewarding quality projects that put forward a viable future company with a positive impact on society.

Incubation and coworking space

StartUB! makes a coworking space available to all its users where they can develop their ideas, meet people facing the same concerns and obstacles, expand their network of contacts, and receive specific training, in addition to many other activities. A fully equipped space with meeting rooms, project presentation space, training area and networking area.
