Language & Culture

In order to maximize your immersion in the local culture, here at the UB you have the opportunity to take regular courses, taught in English, alongside local students. These courses are generally worth 6 ECTS.

These courses are available during the Fall and Spring Semesters:

  • Fall (September  to December)*
  • Spring (Feb. to May/June)

The fact that this Study Abroad offer is in English does not prohibit students from taking any other regular course in the language of their choice. Always when language ability permits.

To see courses taught in Spanish and/or Catalan, please use the search box found here.

*Regular courses in Fall will officially finish in January, however we have worked with the various Schools in order to help ensure that International students will be able to complete all forms of assessment before the Christmas break.
