Paranymph Hall
Top part of the Paranymph Hall in the University of Barcelona.
The decorative programme for this hall, the most developed in the entire building, was commissioned from Josep Mirabent and carried out between 1873 and 1883 by Mirabent and other artists and craftsmen that he enlisted in the project. The spectacular decorative programme is the most emblematic, significant and sophisticated in the entire building in order to reflect the symbolic centrality of the hall.
