Royal charter founding the Barcelona Estudi General (1450), facsimile.
In 1450, the Estudi General was established by a charter granted by King Alfonso V the Magnanimous and a Bull from Pope Nicholas V, bringing together all previous higher education centres. The image is from a facsimile made in 2000 from the original, held by the Archive of the Crown of Aragon.
