WavEng PhD students enroll the UB doctoral program in Physics. The Faculty of Physics offers an EHEA-adapted doctoral program in Physics, with quality award from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.

Admission to the UB doctoral program in Physics

Students who do not hold a Master degree may enroll either the Master in Photonics or the Master in Physical Engineering programs. Students who have successfully completed at least 60 ECTS credits in a Master degree can apply for admission to the doctoral program.

Master in photonics
Three universities (UPC, UAB and UB) and one photonics research institute (ICFO) offer a comprehensive Master (MSc) program in Photonics. The Master aims at educating future researchers in this field and also promoting entrepreneurial activity amongst its students. Addressed to an international audience, the Master in Photonics is conducted in English.
