Manel Viader, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology
Manel Viader (Mataró, 1959) holds a bachelor's degree and PhD in psychology. He has been a tenured lecturer at the University of Barcelona since 1988, and in 2005 was named Dean of the Faculty of Psychology. As a lecturer, he has worked mainly in methodological subjects (statistics, experimental psychology, research designs) and has also taught students of various postgraduate courses.

The 2010 edition of the Workshop on Regional and Urban Economics focuses on up-to-date methods and tools for the empirical testing of theories in regional and urban economics.
José Templado, from the Spanish National Research Council's Museum of Natural Sciences, will give the talk "Biodiversidad marina mediterránea: situación actual y perspectivas".
The Research in Applied Economics Network announces its Workshop on Economics of Education, which for 2010 is titled "Determinants of education attainment and competences’ acquisition".
