The university master's degree Marketing and Market Research (MIM) is a one-year program (60 ECTS credits), adapted to the European Higher Education Area, which provides specialized training in marketing and market research in response to social and business needs. Students gain a broad and in-depth view at a theoretical and a practical level of the marketing methods, marketing management techniques and market research tools and techniques needed by companies and other organizations in a highly competitive environment.

The master's degree Marketing and Market Research replaces the second-cycle llicenciatura degree Market Research and Techniques.

Learning objectives

The main objectives for students pursuing this master's degree are:

a) to attain advanced knowledge in a specialized context, demonstrating in-depth understanding of the theoretical, practical and methodological aspects of marketing and market research;
b) to apply and integrate this knowledge, its scientific foundations and the skills needed to solve problems in new or relatively unknown environments within multidisciplinary contexts;
c) to evaluate and select the appropriate scientific theory and precise methodology in this field of study in order to formulate judgments based on incomplete or limited information, taking due consideration of the social and ethical responsibilities involved in proposing solutions in each case;
d) to predict and control the evolution of complex situations using new and innovative work methodologies specifically adapted to this field;
e) to communicate results and their theoretical underpinnings innovatively;
f) to take personal responsibility for professional development and specialization within the field of marketing and market research.
