Objectives and competences

Objectives

To receive training for environment-related jobs, with an emphasis on individual and social behaviour.
- To learn to use techniques and tools to assess and manage environmental issues in businesses and institutions.
- To acquire the concepts, language and practices in this field to carry out professional work demanding inter- and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Applicant profile and access requirements

Recommended applicant profile

- University graduates with a specific interest or academic/professional involvement in aspects of the environment, sustainability or land planning.
- Especially, social scientists (psychologists, sociologists, anthropologists, geographers) lawyers, economists, political scientists, biologists, environmental scientists, chemists, geologists, architects and engineers.
- The director of the programme may also accept professionals without a university qualification who work in fields related to the environment and are interested in the training the course provides. These students will obtain a university extension certificate rather than a full postgraduate diploma.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
