Financial aid for officially unemployed students to enrol in university master's degree courses and university-specific master's degree courses

Basic information about the grant or financial aid

Definition of the grant:

This financial aid covers the cost of enrolment in a university master’s degree course or university-specific master's degree course taken at a public university for students who are officially unemployed and who have or have had, during the year 2010, the recognized right to receive official unemployment benefits.

Aimed at:

Students in university master’s degree courses and in university-specific master's degree courses who are officially unemployed.

Basic requirements:
  • Date of birth between 1 January 1970 and 31 December 1985.
  • Applicants must be officially unmeployed and receiving unemployment benefit or have received this between January 1 2010 and September 1 2010.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course in either of the course types described above for the academic year 2010/2011.

Applications can be made in September and October through the Ministry of Education webpage. They are presented in the university school or faculty in which the student is enrolled.
