Departmental collaboration grants awarded by the Ministry of Education

Basic information about the grant or financial aid

Definition of the grant:

This grant is awarded annually by the Ministry of Education to encourage students in the final year of their university course to collaborate with university departments. Thus, they can begin research tasks that are directly related to their degree.

Students whose family residence is in the Basque Country are not eligible for this call for applications. They must apply for the grant in their  Autonomous Community.

Aimed at:

Students in the final year of their university course.

Basic requirements:

Applicants shall be university students who meet the following requirements:

  • They cannot hold or be in a legal position to obtain a bachelor’s degree, an official master’s degree or any other first or second cycle degree.
  • They must be studying on a course that leads to a bachelor’s degree, an official master’s degree or another first or second cycle degree. In addition, they must meet some specific requirements regarding the number of credits they have obtained and the average grade on their academic transcript.
  • They must be enrolled for the final year of the second cycle or for all of the credits they need to finish their course.
