Grants for English, French or German summer courses

Basic information about the grant or financial aid

Definition of the grant

Grants for students to take advanced English courses in the following countries where English is an official language: Australia, Canada, the United States of America, Malta, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

Grants for students to take advanced French or German summer courses in a country whose official language is the same as that of the language course.

These periods abroad are an ideal way to gain fluency in a language. They also have great educational value as they bring students into contact with other cultures.

Aimed at:

Grants for English courses are for students born between 1 January 1979 and 31 December 1991 (according to the last call for applications).

Grants for French or German language courses are for students who are enrolled on university courses.

Basic requirements:

Grants for English courses are open to applicants who obtained a grant in the Ministry of Education’s General, Commencement or Mobility call for applications in the previous academic year.

Grants for French or German courses are open to applicants who have obtained a grant in the Ministry of Education’s General, Commencement or Mobility call for applications in the current academic year.
