Exhibition that commemorates the fifth centenary of the birth of St Teresa of Jesus

The opening takes place on 15 October in the Aula Capella of the Historic Building at 11 a.m. The event is chaired by Adolfo Sotelo, dean of the Faculty of Philology. Participating personalities are Josep Turiel, head of the CRAI Faculty of Philology, who presents the exhibition, and Mercè Gras, archivist of the congregation Carmelites Descalços de Catalunya i Balears, who illustrates the ancient book collection included in the exhibition.

The event also includes the lecture "La escritura en libertad de Teresa de Jesús", pronounced by Rosa Navarro, professor in the Department of Spanish. Then, the recital "Santa Teresa del segle XXI: recital amb música electroacústica, acústica i mapping" is offered by Rosa Maria Torrens, professor at the Faculty of Philology. The recital includes poetry and prose from Libro de la vida and Moradas primeras.
