Conference: “Feynman: Nobel, bongos i topless”

Conference within the conference series Visions de la Ciència: «Feynman i l'evolució de la ciència al segle XX».  It will be given by Claudi Mans, emeritus professor of the UB.

This year is the centenary of the birth of one of the most important scientists of the 20th century, the American physicist Richard P. Feynman. The series will touch on his figure and some of the scientific milestones that marked his life, such as participation in the Manhattan project and the atomic bomb, the Nobel Prize on Physics for his works on quantum electrodynamics and his predictions on nanotechnology.
