The University of Barcelona and the budget accommodation bookings site gomio.com have signed an agreement that will guaranteee UB students preferential rates for over 5,000 hostels and budget hotels in 135 countries around the world.

The University of Barcelona and the budget accommodation bookings site gomio.com have signed an agreement that will guaranteee UB students preferential rates for over 5,000 hostels and budget hotels in 135 countries around the world.
Thanks to this new agreement, students enrolled at the University of Barcelona will be offered special discounts at an extensive range of hostels, B&Bs and budget hotels.
To take advantage of the special rates, students should either select the Avantatges tab in the MonUB portal or visit the address www.ub.edu/monub/albergs, where they will be able to select a destination (country and city), enter the dates of travel and size of their group, and book their accommodation in one of the options provided. Once they have completed the booking, students can use the Facebook option to get in touch with other travellers who will be in the same city over the same period. There will be periodic special offers for UB students, including free nights' accommodation and other promotions.
