The University of Barcelona begins a new edition of Els Juliols summer courses and the International Summer School (UBISS). In total 39 multidisciplinary courses will be offered dealing with different topics of current interest, from the economic crisis to business development techniques, stem cells, environment, social sciences, humanities or new technologies and communication, among others. All these courses are open to the general public.
In this new edition, the courses will take place between 2 and 20 July and will mainly be held in the University of Barcelona’s Historic Building. Lecturers come from different areas, both from public and private university and professional sectors. Els Juliols summer courses and the UBISS follow the premises of rigor, quality and innovation, and are open to all citizens: students from upper secondary school education, university students, professionals, and, in general, to everybody interested in learning and taking part in a training activity. The UBISS runs a program of courses which are given in Spanish and English, which reflects the University of Barcelona’s commitment to promoting the international profile of its work.
The detailed program of the courses, together with all information regarding course registration and course certificates, can be found on the web pages of Els Juliols and UBISS.
