4th Premi UB-Ferran Adrià amb Gallina Blanca conferred
The Catalan Agency of Food Security (ACSA) collaborates in the contest and gives an award to the best work dealing with any aspect related to food security. The award-winning work is La celiaquia. Un món sense gluten, developed by Berta Busquets, Student at Castell dʼEstela High School, in Amer, and supervised by the teacher Margarida Cargol.
The event was chaired by Màrius Rubiralta, director of the Food and Nutrition Torribera Campus of the UB, and Lídia Guinart, deputy mayor of Santa Coloma de Gramenet City Council. The jury emphasized the quality of 4th Premi UB - Ferran Adrià amb Gallina Blanca short-listed works.
The jury was composed by the following members: Màrius Rubiralta, who represented the UB and act as president; Alicia González, Health & Nutrition Manager at Gallina Blanca Star; Nan Ferreres, from the University School of Hotel Management and Tourism (CETT); Ingrid Farré, from Alícia Foundation; Pilar Cervera, from the Spanish Association of Dietitians-Nutritionists; Conxita Mayós, from the Ministry of Education of the Government of Catalonia; Carme Vidal, head of Food Sience and Technology studies of the UB; Susana Buxaderas, head of Human Nutrition and Dietetics studies of the UB; Alfons Villarrassa, from the Catalan Public Health Agency; Yvonne Colomer, director of Triptolemos Foundation, and Eulàlia Salom, from the Student Support Service of the UB who acted as secretary.
