Available the new edition of the e-book ʻRecent advances in pharmaceutical sciences Vʼ
The fifth edition of the e-book Recent Advances in Pharmaceutical Sciences V, by Diego Muñoz Torrero, Maria Pilar Vinardell and Javier Palazón, lecturers at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Barcelona, has been released. The book is divided into eleven chapters; each of them corresponds to one of the sessions of the Research Seminars at the Faculty of Pharmacy 2014, an initiative promoted by the Research Committee of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Book contents include different subject areas: organic chemistry, health and environmental management, plant physiology, food science, toxicology, botany, parasitology, physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology, microbiology, and pharmacology. The e-book has become a tool to promote first line research carried out by research groups at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Like previous editions, the e-book is available on the site of the publishing house Transworld Research Network, the research site of the Faculty and the digital repository of the University of Barcelona. Joan Estelrich and Roser Estelrich are the authors of the cover illustration, which will be also used in later volumes.
