The International Amnesty group (AI) in UB will organize tomorrow Friday in Mundet campus an event in the campaign of this international entity to achieve the freedom for the Mexican Yecenia Armenta, imprisoned three years ago in her country after the authorities got her confession under torture.
The ceremony in Mundet campus will consist in putting up a mural in the library entrance in order to be painted (a hand profile and name) by those who want. They will also place a laptop to participate in the cyberaction that AI put on its website regarding this case (https://www.es.amnesty.org/en-que-estamos/campanas/yecenia/). All actions will be documented with photographs to upload them in AIʼs platforms and social networks. Afterwards they will consider the possibility of sending the mural to Yecenia Armenta, her family or supporting collectives of human rights in Mexico.
