VThe seventh Report on Social Responsibility of the University of Barcelona for the academic year 2014-2015 has been published. It is written by the Office for Internal Control, Risks and Corporate Social Responsibility and edited by Publications and Editions of the UB.

The report shows the impact the University has had in the three fields on which social responsibility is based, which are economy, environment and society, and it is done from both an internal (impact within the organization) and external (impact outside the organization) perspectives. For the second year in a row, when writing the report, some guidelines have been followed: these are the ones marked by G4 guide from Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the most known international guide regarding reports on social responsibility. Before having the G4 guide, the followed version was G3.

The recently published report collects data from 2012 until 2015, or for the courses 2011-2012 to 2014-2015, depending on the unit for which information is asked. The report shows, therefore, the evolution of the University over a 4 year period or 4 academic years, so it enables having a useful broad vision when detecting possible weaknesses that have to be corrected to get an improvement regarding university management.
