Projects by design students reach the world of business
The projects by three students have got to the market in an initiative of a collaboration with the business world within the course on Laboratory of Professional Design Projects, from the bachelor degree in Design. The students have worked under the supervision of Comas, a Catalan cutlery firm, and Calma, a company specialized in designing outdoor furniture. “Our aim is to design projects which are more related to research than the typical product development, that is, things that companies would not ask from a professional studio because they would involve heavy costs” says Josep Teruel.
