Margaret Chan, Director-General of WHO, visits the University of Barcelona
Last June 17, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Margaret Chan, visited the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona. She took part in the course Science of erradication: malaria , organized by the Global Health Institute of Barcelona (ISGlobal). Margaret Chan was invited by Professor Pedro Alonso, Professor of Public Health at the University of Barcelona, and currently in charge of the WHO Global Malaria Programme, and founded ISGlobal. Antoni Trilla, Professor of the Department of Medicine, also welcomed the Director of WHO.
