There is hunger, war, pain and death in Africa, but there is also love, childrenʼs smiles, culture, progress and future. This diversity in the African continent can be seen in an exhibition with sixty photographs by Alfons Rodríguez, entitled “Àfriques: pobles, terres i realitats”, in Josep Uclés room in El Carme Cultural Center, in Badalona.

The exhibition is a tribute to the African continent and its people: it shows the encouragement and fight of the people of this continent to have a better future, an image of Africa far from the one we usually receive.
