This is stated in the Ranking Web of Universities by Webometrics, which places the University of Barcelona in the first position in 2017, in Spain, and the 36th in Europe, and 141st worldwide. This ranking, made by the Cybermetrics Lab, which belongs to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), analyzes more than 21.000 university websites worldwide based on their presence and impact.
